Indie with hints of New Wave and Brit-Pop, Kubra Commander, is a Cebu based artist established in back in 2016. Founded by Bobbi Olvido, it’s mainly composed of himself plus who are onboarded for both studio and live performances. Inspired by the likes of Wild Nothing, The Smiths, Johnny Marr, Oasis, The Stone Roses, Tame Impala, MGMT, Japsuki and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Kubra Commander has released 2 albums(Vagrant Up in 2018 and Rhythm Tourists in 2022), and is gearing up for a 3rd album, entitled Metabolic to be released late 2025 under Manila-based Indie label, Lilystars Records

Currently, a revolving cast of musicians compose the band(live & studio) but the main line-up consists of: Bobbi Olvido (Vocals/Guitars), Mich Pacalioga (Guitars), JB Villagonzalo(Guitars), Jah Acab (Bass), Jhon Dayak (Synth), and Daryll Salazar (Drums).
